It’s no secret that our Barra Atlantic Gin embarks on many journeys. Even its route from the Isle of Barra to mainland Scotland entails a mass of transportation. However, very recently, it’s crossed over the Atlantic to the USA!

Our island spirit has proven to be just as popular in the states as it is in the UK. We’ve had our fair share of awards since our launch in 2017, but this week we were completely overjoyed to receive the welcoming news that our Gin was scooping yet another award!

 

We're absolutely delighted to announce that our Barra Atlantic Gin has been awarded Silver at this year's San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Highly regarded as the best spirits competition in the world and commonly known as the "Oscars" of the drinks industry, we’re extremely proud to receive this recognition on our island spirit. 

With over 3000 entries from around the world submitted this year, which was a record turnout for the competition, we are ever grateful to have our Gin so highly regarded. 

We did of course, strongly believe that this award deserves a little celebration. And a celebration we did have over the weekend!   

This week, we also saw the return of some wonderful products to both our island shop and online store. With each re-stock selling out fast, we are very pleased to announce that our Barra Atlantic Gin Candles are available, along with the talented Sarah Leask Studio designed placemats, coasters and chopping boards!
