A crucial milestone in our journey has been reached. We are thrilled to open the doors to our Island shop.

Over the last few months the team at the Isle of Barra distillers has been busy working on our shop but we must say a thank you to our Floor Manager Iain who really did most of the work and I think we can all agree it looks great!

It is something we are so pleased to have ready, especially as we are just about to go in 2018, a year that we all think will be a special one for the Isle of Barra Distillers.Now completed we are delighted to say you can now call in and buy the Barra Gin. The shop is a crucial part of our plans to enable us to bring full production of the gin back to the Island So this really is a big step forward for achieving this.We accept all major cards and cash in the shop so call in and say hello. Our opening hours will be 10am till 4pm Wednesday to Saturday until March 19th were will be in our summer season and a revised opening times will be available. 

Michael, the isle of Barra Distillers Director, had this to say ‘It really is a great point in our story so far, a real achievement and having this shop now will open up the Isle of Barra Distillers to so many new people who we can share our story with and a place to learn about what it is we hope to achieve. For the year ahead, this really will be the hub for everything to do with the Isle of Barra Distillers'.
