Match days in Barra are something special. It’s more than just a game, it's a coming together of the community.
We were honoured to host the first home game of the season for Barra Football Club, and what a start it was. As the proud headline sponsors for the season, seeing the boys run out onto the pitch in their brand new kits for the first time was a special moment for the whole Isle of Barra Distillers team.
The atmosphere at the pitch side was electric, and so was the performance. Barra FC stormed to victory with a 7–2 win over Benbecula FC. We couldn’t be prouder of the team's effort.
For us, supporting Barra FC is about more than just a logo on a jersey. When we talk about being island-made, this means more than just gin and rum. It’s about the people, the place, and the pride we take in seeing our local team succeed.
Backing local sports and the individuals who make Barra such a vibrant place to live and work is at the heart of our mission. When the team succeeds, the whole island feels it.
